Should you take your passion and turn it into a business?

QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOURSELF.

First, ask yourself why? What appeals to you about being in business for yourself? There's the idea and then there's the reality which may be very far apart.

Some experts say that the ability to sell, in other words, "persuasiveness" is a key trait of successful entrepreneurs. Do you like to sell?

Are you flexible, can you change in midstream? Being flexible, the ability to accomodate change is another important trait. In a business, you are juggling your product, customers, your distribution, your costs, your pricing, raw materials, activities and more.

Are you creative? Good at solving problems? Thinking outside the box? If you are not, you will need someone on your team who is.

Can you get yourself moving, even when you'd rather relax? There's always more to do, if you prefer "nine-to-five" that would be a deal breaker.

Obstacles come up, do you have the tenacity to deal with them? That might be critical to success.

And driving it all would be a PASSION for your idea, your product, your service! You can see the potential and are determined. Do you have that passion?

If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember that this whole thing was started with a dream and a mouse.”
